2026 Syllabus - Composition

Composition Division participants may enter a maximum of ONE class.

  • Composers must enter the age they are as of December 31st, 2025 when registering.
  • Accurate performance times are necessary for class scheduling, and to avoid disqualification for exceeding class time limits.
  • Composers may submit works for solo or ensemble.

Please submit original compositions only.

You may choose one of the following options:

     1. MIDI Submission with Adjudication 

  • Submit a MIDI recording of your composition by March 15, 2026.

  • The class will include adjudication only; there will be no live performance.

     2. Live Performance with Adjudication

  • Present a live performance of your composition at your scheduled class time.

  • You will receive adjudication immediately following your performance.
