Tom Lee Music is located at the corner of Granville Street and Georgia Street in downtown Vancouver.
- The nearest SkyTrain stop is NB Granville St @ W Georgia St.
- There are several parking lots downtown as well as some street parking.
When You Arrive
Check-in with the volunteer at the front entrance of the store (look for the Kiwanis banner). The volunteer will:
- Take your attendance
- Collect your music score for the adjudicator
If the previous class is still in session, please wait quietly in the hallway at the top of the escalator outside the store entrance.
*Participants are not permitted to linger inside the store.
Before You Arrive
Adjudicator Score Preparation
Please prepare your original sheet music for the adjudicator before arriving:
- Paperclip the page number.
- Write bar numbers at the beginning of each line (unless already printed).
- Label your name on the front of the score so it can be returned to you.
If you need help preparing your score, please ask your teacher.
Festival Guidelines & Expectations
To help the festival run smoothly, please note the following:
- No Rescheduling: Performers must attend their assigned class time. No exceptions.
- Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled performance.
- A pedal extender will be provided for piano students.
- Photography & Recording: Not permitted during performances or adjudication.
- Warm-Up & Tuning: No warm-up or tuning space is available at this venue. Please prepare beforehand.
- Stay for Results: Performers should remain until the end of their session to receive marks, feedback, and certificates from the adjudicator.
