Members - Carrie Knupp

Carrie is an Encaustic Artist based out of Mount Dora, Florida. She paints with layers of molten pigmented beeswax and fuses each layer with a blow torch.
Her paintings reveal images of an emotional nature. Images she hopes will educate and inspire others.
Carrie studied at Rollins College in Winter Park, Art Instruction School in Minneapolis, MN, and with numerous national and international artists.
Her work has been exhibited at shows throughout Florida, South Carolina and Seattle, WA.
Her signature piece about the Holocaust titled "Never Again" has garnered over six awards throughout the state of Florida, and is still traveling.
Her piece titled "The Golden Veil" was published globally in Northlight's book "Incite 3: The Art of Storytelling" in October 2015.
Carrie has her own working studio and classroom at 606 W. Main Street, Leesburg, FL.
She teaches private and semi-private classes in Encaustic Painting.
